Datom clinic update: August 2010
Traditional Healthcare are visiting Datom, India in October 2010. Our team is working with locals to finish the clinic foundations and begin construction of the stone walls. The stone will be bought from a neighbouring quarry.
Work on the permaculture garden has begun – we are gathering the organic matter, organising the fruit trees and herbs for the garden.
Another aim of this trip is to document the treatment of patients with a focus on tongue diagnosis, an important part of Chinese medicine. We will document patient tongues with their case history and our treatment protocol.
We have had great success with our treatments for severe cases in the past. Documenting our treatment protocol will provide useful clinical tools for other herbalists and acupuncturists who are not likely to encounter the severe illnesses we will treat in the Datom clinic.
