Water crisis in Datom
Due to very little rain around the Datom clinic, the closest river became desert. Now the cattles are suffering but in the peak of summer, the well and pond will be the same as the river. A huge water crisis is coming for this area soon.
Huge welcome back to Datom
We have arrived in Datom to a great reception. We will be getting out to the site this afternoon and marking out the new building sites and road ways…and beginning the temporary clinic tommorow.
Wheelbarrow discovery
We have landed in Kolkata and found a wheelbarrow it is amazing that has taken 2 years to find! Hope the rest of the trip has as much luck.
Off to India to finish the clinic
We are getting very excited about the next trip to India – we will be putting the roof on the clinic and begin the research and planning to operate the clinic once it is complete.
With the team leaving on 10 & 19 Feb, we are doing all humanly possible to raise funds – if you can help out with street collections, donations, or have a FUNdraising idea you would like to implement please let us know – thanks!

Walls are looking like walls!
It’s all happening at the site today!
Machines and labourers everywhere. Five no dig gardens covered and completed. Excavator’s filling in the backfill for the floor and the walls are actually starting to look like walls. It’s really starting to take shape.
