Busy days ahead
Most of the team have arived on site: Mark the architect, TK the camera man, Beck an acupuncturist and Regan, also an acupuncturist. We are now expecting Dave, Ben, Matt, and Ingram – we are about to begin construction of the second stage of the clinic!!!
Tasja and I treated the young girl with the brain and spinal leasions, to her parents delight she is showing some improvement her crying stoped for an extended period and she was drinking more that usual. Her signs look to be clearing so we are very happy with her progress. We will be treating her again tommorow we will update her progress.
It is great to see the interest growing so quickly, 21 new peple on facebook in the last few days. Thank you and please help us acheive the goal of finishing the clinic by March next year.
The acupuncture camp will begin tommorow 30km from the village of Datam. We are expecting hundreds to turn up for treatment over the next week.

Exciting partnership on the horizon…
Tom and I went to visit KGVK, an NGO run by a large company, under the premise of corporate responsibilty to the community. AMAZING! If only more companies shared this type of philosophy, the world would be such a better place. KGVK trains local girls as mid wives, runs hopitals, grows ayvedic herbs, creates solar pan…els an bio gas, builds wells, schools and farms, creating jobs for the local people.
We may become collaborative partners with KGVK, two organisations with the same vison, only 100kms from each other. They would like some acupuncturists in their hospitals, and will help us with midwives, education, seedlings, and solar panels!

Today TK the camera man and I will be going back to KGVK and film the location. There is so much god work going on there we need to show this on the next Doco that we make.

Lights, camera, action!
We are going to have about 30 people working on the site today, the collection of mulch for the permaculture laying of the stone and filling the slab – its all happening now.
Yesterday was the Durga puja holiday so there was no one to help really but every day will be very busy from now on.
We did lots of filming today, TK (Takeshi Kondo – volunteer) is a tough director. The next installment of the doco will be even better than the last. Looking forward to seeing the finished version.
We have a new patient for tommorow – a 2 year old that has not been able to stand at all and has very limited movement in her legs. Very similar to the patient I treated last year. Will let you know how the treatment goes.

First stones laid!
A patient who had terminal cancer passed away this morning, it is a sad reality that we in the west are so sheltered from. So many patients over here are in the same position, It is hard to comprehend the task of treating so many difficult patients.
The young girl came this morning and her condition had worsened some what, she had no energy and still had not been able to move her bowel we gave her some herbs to move the bowel and she is coming back tommorow hopefuly having passed the obstruction.
She came for treatment again today with the good news that she had moved her bowels after an enema. She slept on the table while we were palpating her abdomen this was not possible in the last few treatments.
She is exhausted but she is now in a position to build up her energy now that her bowels are clear. Her condition is improving today.
The first stones have been laid!!!!
We are making good time, treating in the morning then construction in the afternoon. Mark spent 1 hour trying to explain energetic currents in the seam of stones but got there eventually.
We hope to have the slab of the clinic finished by Monday, then the education space.
This morning we are back to the construction site to lay the stone. but first there is about 20 patients to treat.
Welcome to our new website!
